Al Valko

Founder/President

Established ToolMatics, Inc in 1988. Over 40 years’ experience in Pneumatic and Electric Power Tools. Graduated in 1976 from West Liberty University, West Liberty W.Va. President and member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity. My favorite past times are Family time with my grandkids, Classic Cars Shows, attending MLB Games, fishing. Former Rotary President. I am proud of our team at ToolMatics, Inc.

Cheri Kidd

Office Manager

My name is Cheri Kidd, and I joined the Toolmatics team in July 2019 as the Office Manager. I have a total of 13 years’ experience in the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable field. Born and raised in Sunbury, OH I graduated from Big Walnut High School and currently reside in Centerburg, OH with my husband Shawn. Our children are grown, and we have 2 beautiful grandchildren. In my free time I enjoy going on rides with my husband on our Harley and spending time in our garden. I am also an Area Representative where I find wonderful families to host foreign exchange students.

Shawn Greguric

Project manager

I spent 9 years in the United States Navy as a sonar technician on submarines with extensive experience in corrective/preventive maintenance management, work controls and project management over multiple deployments and a retrofit of the submarine I was stationed on. After leaving the Navy I spent 6 years performing purchasing and inventory management for various large corporations in the Columbus Ohio area. I have currently been at ToolMatics since 2021 starting in sales support and moving to the repair manager role and now find myself in the project manager role. In my free time I enjoy golfing, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and my dog Ace.

Jeffrey Osborne

Shipping Coordinator

My name is Jeffrey Osborne. I worked in a factory for seven years and decided that I wanted a change and started at ToolMatics in November of 2022. This change was to help me further my business knowledge due to my aspirations to run my own company one day. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, camping, and traveling. I have lived in the central Ohio area for the last 7 years.

Hobie Scarberry

Shop & Assembly Manager

My Mechanical Engineering degree has assisted me during my 12 years of experience with manufacturing tools and fixtures. During those 12 years I have held multiple positions with Toolmatics, which has given me a lot of good experience. When I’m not working here I am enjoying time with my daughter and spending time on hunting adventures.

A native of Indiana, and a graduate of Ohio Northern University with a BS in Manufacturing Engineering/Business. I am halfway through my 30th year at ToolMatics. I have been lucky to meet a lot of incredible customers and vendor partners who have taught me a lot. I most enjoy the relationships and the satisfaction I get from solving problems for our customers. I am married to Sarah with whom I have raised four awesome children: daughters Reagan, Delaney and Sophia as well as my son Alec. Outside of work I love to fish, spend time with my family and hang with my dogs Charlotte and Finneas.

My name is Nicholas Valko and I have been in outside sales with Toolmatics for the past 10 years. I currently reside in Delaware, Ohio with my wife, Kristen, and two children, Alexis (9) and Knox (1). In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, fishing, golfing, car restoration, and attending classic car shows.

Leo Munguia

Sales Engineer

Leonardo joined Toolmatics in 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering. Prior to starting with Toolmatics, Leo’s career in the Assembly Tools Industry began in Central Mexico where he worked as a Sales Engineer. He is fluent in both Spanish and English, which helps him build strong client relationships. Living in Columbus with his wife and two children he often spends time training for marathons, watching and playing sports.

Laura Lohr

Sales Support

My name is Laura Lohr, I’ve been with Toolmatics since July 2023 as a sales support representative. I’ve worked in Customer service for several years and just recently took an interest in data analytics. I’ve been working on learning new skills and applying those skills to my daily routine here at Toolmatics. I would consider myself an avid plant and fish enthusiast. Outside of work I like to spend time with family and work on home projects.

With over a decade of expertise in manufacturing and process improvement, I joined ToolMatics in August 2025, bringing a robust background in Industrial and Process Engineering. My experience includes twelve years of teaching lean manufacturing at a leading corporation, where I honed my skills in optimizing workflows and ergonomic solutions. I am dedicated to helping clients enhance their workstations through informed guidance on tool selection and cell layout. Outside of work, I value family time spent camping and backpacking, reflecting my commitment to balance and resilience.

Previously worked in the heavy truck manufacturing industry. After 6 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, I joined ToolMatics as an Application Sales Engineer where I look forward to contributing to the growth and advancement of the company. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife Brooke and our Golden Retriever Baker. Other hobbies include playing golf, watching sports and fishing.

I joined Toolmatics in April 2025 after having spent 2.5 years working as a Design Engineer in the Factory Automation industry. My previous experience exposed me to a variety of industries, technologies, and various aspects of machine design that allows me to come up with creative solutions for our customers. In my free time, I enjoy working on personal projects, riding my bike, and fishing.

Dwayne Burkitt

Repair Technician

I joined Toolmatics 2.5 years ago as a Tool Repair Technician, after my retirement as a machinist of 40 years. I was responsible for programming, setting up & operating manual & CNC machines & equipment of many kinds. The last 26 years also including engineering, designing, fabricating & welding to make or repair tooling & fixtures. If I’m not busy doing something with my grandkids. I enjoy building Cigar Box Guitars. I like to build electric one’s; I can’t really play I just enjoy building them. As well as plugging it in to the amp, to rattle some windows.
